This Return & Refund Policy applies to orders placed on Partsvast.ca, owned and operated by Fordon Inc., a legally registered Canadian business based in Mississauga, Ontario. Throughout this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Fordon Inc. doing business as Partsvast.ca (“Partsvast”).
Return Eligibility
- Return Period: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase.
- Restocking Fee: Returns made within 14 days of delivery are not subject to any restocking fee. After 14 days, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply unless the return is due to our error.
- Condition: Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging in the same condition you received them.
- Proof of Purchase: A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required for all returns. Please include the RMA and receipt with your item.
Non-Returnable Items
- Electrical and electronic components (sensors, modules, relays, bulbs, ECUs, control units, etc.).
- Parts that have been installed, activated, programmed, or coded.
- Fluids, chemicals, gaskets exposed to oil or coolant, and safety-related items (airbags, seat-belt components).
- Products damaged through improper installation, misuse, or modification.
- Products with missing parts, packaging, or manufacturer labels.
- Items marked “Final Sale,” “Non-Returnable,” or “Special Order.”
Core Returns
Some products carry a refundable core charge. This mainly applies to remanufactured parts. To receive credit:
- Return the exact same component replaced (same part type).
- The core must be complete, rebuildable, and drained of fluids.
- Core refunds are issued once inspection is complete — normally within 7 business days of receipt.
How to Return an Item
- Fill out the Return Form: Begin your return process by filling out our easy return form. Click here to get started.
- Get Your Return Authorization: After review, we’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Return the Item: You may return it in-store or by shipping it back to us. We may provide a prepaid label; if so, its cost will be deducted from your refund unless the return is our error.
- Packaging: Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit and include the RMA number inside the package.
Return Shipping Costs
- Customer Responsible: Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. The customer has to ship back the item to us. A return shipping label can be provided but the costs will be deducted from the refund.
- Prepaid Labels: If the return is due to an error on our part, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label.
Inspection & Restocking Fees
- All returned items are inspected upon arrival to ensure they meet eligibility requirements.
- No restocking fee applies if the item is returned within 14 days of delivery and is unused, complete, and in original packaging.
- After 14 days, a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply to non-defective returns or items missing packaging or accessories.
- Products deemed ineligible for return will not be accepted or refunded.
Refunds
- Processing Time: Please allow 3–5 business days after inspection for refunds to appear on your original payment method.
- Partial Refunds: Shipping and service charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used at checkout.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
- Inspect all shipments upon delivery. Report visible damage or incorrect items within 7 days.
- Provide photos of the packaging, label, and product to assist with claim verification.
- Once confirmed, we’ll arrange a replacement, return, credit, or refund.
Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item due to a fitment issue or other concern, contact our customer service team. Exchanges are processed as a return with a new order for the desired item.
Cancelling an Order
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us immediately. Orders already processed or shipped cannot be cancelled; in that case, simply follow the return procedure once the item arrives.
Warranty Returns
